Winang Budoyo has 30 years’ experience in research institutions
He is currently the Chief Economist of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk., which
conducts macro and micro economic research for Bank BTN. In addition, currently serves
as Investor Relations and Research Division Head of Bank BTN which also oversees the
BTN Housing Finance Center, a research institution at Bank BTN that focuses on research
in the housing sector.
A researcher by background, he has worked in government institution, research institution,
investment bank, and commercial banks. He received Australian Development Scholarship
(ADS) from the Government of Australia to pursue master’s degree in economics at the
University of Queensland, Australia. He is a frequent speaker for the bank, private sector,
domestic and foreign government institutions. He writes various articles in newspapers and
magazines, as well as live interview in several TV stations.
